Tcm

1.What is Tcm cell

Tcm (Central Memory T cells) is one of the core subgroups of memory T cells (Tm), mainly located in lymphoid organs. It is a reserve and proliferation center for long-term immune memory in the body, with strong proliferation, high self-renewal, and long-term protective ability.

2.Core phenotype

High expression of CD45RO, CCR7, CD62L can lead to targeted homing to secondary lymphoid organs such as lymph nodes and spleen, achieving rapid antigen response.

3.Mechanism of action

Tcm efficiently completes immune clearance tasks and builds the core defense line of the body’s long-term immune memory through a five stage cycle of “resting activation proliferation effector maintenance”.

4.Application scenarios

• Preferred seed cells for next-generation cellular immunotherapy

• Biomarkers for predicting the efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors

• Functional cure for chronic viral infections

• Precise regulation of autoimmune diseases

• Combined chemoradiotherapy and mRNA vaccines enhance immune persistence
